Fly only bass tournaments held in Northern California! Trying to cary on the Costa Bass-N-Fly tradition. 2026 will be a two day event held on Lake Oroville! We're working on the permit and everything now.

Our goal is to allow fly angler's to experience a legitimate tournament experience. Fly guys and gals need to have a little fun too. The feedback from 2024 was clear, a TON of fun was had! One competitor Clayton Ono said, "That was the most fun I've ever had in my life." And Clayton is a trout guy! Never fished a bass tournament before? This is the one for you. Tournament director and guide Ryan Williams' job is to introduce you to the world of tournament fishing. Ryan guide's for a living and he will gladly guide you through the whole process the day of the tournament and prior, equipment needed, protocols, etc. These tournaments will be set during prime seasons on the best bass fisheries in CA. We strive to pick locations that offer easier fishing to ensure everyone has a good time. This is an experience for the community above all. Ultimately the goal is always growing the bass on the fly phenomena!

The goal is to offer 3 tournaments per year. However we're taking baby steps to this growth. For the 2026 season we are looking at 1 tournament in the Spring and 1 POSSIBLY during the winter. Two tournaments could be a stretch for 2026, but we will get a multi tourney schedule going in the future no matter what. With the tournament series, we will total points for an Angler of the Year (AOY) Award. This will be the first ever AOY team title granted to fly anglers. For you fly guys who don't know, AOY is a very big deal within the bass tournament community.

All tournaments are team style, meaning anglers get to choose a partner to fish with. Two anglers per boat. Drift Boat's will be allowed to compete, and will also be allowed a 3'rd teammate as a designated rower. No fishing for 3'rd team member, he/she is the trolling motor only.
